New student registration update for 2020-21 school year

Due to the ongoing regulations surrounding COVID-19, NCS is not currently finalizing registrations for the 2020-21 school year. This is for incoming kindergarten through 12th grade students. The online forms system is still available, and parents can fill forms out at any time. We will not be making appointments to finalize your student's registration until a later time — at least after May 1, if not later. Student registration for the current school year (2019-20) is still available. Please visit our student registration page by clicking here. More +

NCS Community Message April 3

It has been a wonderful first week of blended learning in the Newark City School District. Earlier this week, Governor DeWine extended the school closure and stay-at-home order to May 1. Our goal as a district during this time is to help students learn from home without overwhelming families. We know that this is a stressful time, and we don’t want to add to that stress level. If you need additional support, please reach out to your child’s teacher or additional contacts that you may have. We have technical support numbers available on our website’s Blended Learning page, as well. More +

UPDATED APRIL 20: School Lunch sites during school closure

Please click here for a list of locations, organized by school attendance area. Families can visit any spot that is most convenient. The sites were updated on April 20. We are no longer serving meals at the following locations: Liberty Middle School, the Maintenance and Transportation Warehouse, White Field, the Administration Service Center, the Skate Park or Don Edwards, due to low demand.
