Hi! My name is Bill Marlowe. I was born and raised in Zanesville, Ohio. I graduated from Zanesville High School and I remember many of the rivalry games between Newark and Zanesville. I liked Newark , you respected the coaches and players, they were always tough and well prepared.
I spent many years in college, back then you could afford it more easily. I went to Ohio University, but took courses at Muskingum, Capital, Ohio State and a few other universities. I loved education, I loved to learn so naturally that took me to want to teach. I received my Bachelor's and Master's at Ohio University.
This is my 30+ year teaching. I am certified grades 7-12 and in that time have taught American History, English, Earth and Physical Science, Chemistry, Biology and Spanish I, II and III. I have switched off periodically to stay excited teaching. I taught at the old Roosevelt Middle School for most of that time. I remember teaching Chemistry and Biology at the High School and American History and Spanish I at Roosevelt my first year in the district. That made me appreciate the time to prepare for each class.
I am married and I have three children, two boys and a girl. I enjoy teaching as always. I love to see students understand new material. Currently I teach Spanish I and II.
