This story included many different birds. Now you will draw a bird, you can look outside or use your imagination. Then write about the bird. You can write about what the bird looks like, where it lives or what makes it special.

In the book Feathers for Lunch, the cat wanted to catch the birds but all he got was a mouthful of feathers. 


Art: Create your own cat using a paper plate and materials from home. Don’t forget to add the feathers!

Science: Bird Watching: we saw many different types of birds in our book. Go outside and watch for birds, can you find any from the book? Draw pictures of what you saw.
