NHS Theatre presents Leaving Iowa on Nov. 19 and 20

Newark High School Theatre Department will present "Leaving Iowa," a comedy about family vacations, on Friday and Saturday, November 19 and 20, at 7 p.m. in the NHS Auditorium. November 2021 Citizens of the Month

Every month, Newark City Schools honors 30 students in grades 4 through 12 from across the district as Citizens of the Month during a special luncheon. These students are chosen for their leadership, character, respect, responsibility, and sportsmanship. This month’s event was sponsored by Park National Bank. Newark High School Orchestra’s Sinfonia performed during the event. A photo gallery is available on Facebook. Congratulations to the November 2021 Citizens of the Month!

Newark Bands Pancake Dinner and Craft Bazaar

Newark Bands' Pancake dinner and Craft Bazaar are coming up this week:
Pancake Dinner: 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5, in the NHS Commons, with Concert in the gym at 8 p.m. Prices are $7 for Adults and $5 for Seniors/Students
Craft Bazaar: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 6, in the Auxiliary Gym. Admission is $1, and children under 14 are free.

National Honor Society inducts new members
