Opening Move / Book Introduction: You will learn what a body of water is and the different types of water bodies found on earth. You will also learn why water is important in our daily lives. As you listen to this text, think about where you see water and why it is important to us.
Stopping Point #1: (p.9) Pause and think for a minute. How do water bodies form?
Stopping Point #2: (p.23) Think about the types of water bodies you just learned about. How are these water bodies the same? How are they different?
Stopping Point #3: (p. 25) What do you think the author’s message is in this story? How do you know? What are some of the ways we use water in our daily lives?
