Wildcat basketball playoff brackets now available
The Newark Wildcat boys and girls basketball teams are headed to the postseason. Both teams will play their first two rounds in the Jimmy Allen Gymnasium. The girls tip off against Franklin Heights at 7 p.m. on Sat., Feb. 15, at home. The second round game would tip at 7 p.m. on Fri., Feb. 21, against Mount Vernon. The full girls' basketball district bracket is available by clicking this link. The boys' tournament run will begin will begin with a home game at 1 p.m. on Sat., Feb. 22, against Teays Valley. The full boys district bracket is available by clicking this link. Fans will need to buy tickets at the game, as season passes do not work for tournament games.
