Newark City Schools hosts a four-week Kindergarten Readiness Academy to assist incoming kindergarten students in becoming comfortable in the school setting, while exposing students to letters, numbers, literature, science, math, and art concepts. The program lasts for four days per week from July 11 through August 4. Interested parents can fill out an online application by

downloaded at this link. Applications must be submitted by May 19; all will be accepted as long as your child is an incoming NCS Kindergarten student.
