Book Introduction: In this story, Jeremy notices many of the other kids in his class have new, awesome, fast shoes. He wants to get a pair just like them, but they are too expensive. After talking to his Grandma, they search the second hand (thrift) stores for the shoes, and find them! But they are too small. Let’s read to find out if Jeremy gets the shoes he so desperately wants. As I am reading, think about whether Jeremy needs those shoes, and your reasons for your opinion.
