Light Lesson 3 of 3: White Light and Color

White light is a combination of all the colors of light.  The colors we see are the colors that are reflected off of objects.  When light is absorbed, it turns into heat.  Dark colors absorb more colors of light, so they are warmer.  Light colors (especially white) reflect most colors of light, so they are cooler.
