Optional Activities

Design a space suit for Mercury or Neptune.  Think about the features of each planet and how the space suits would have to be different based on the location of the planet in the solar system.

Create a T chart and list features of each planet. What is the planet made up of? What is the surface like? What is the temperature like on the planet? Use this information to design different components of your space suit.
