Good evening Newark families,
Today was a good day in the Newark City School District as we worked to feed children and get ready for our new normal. Thank you to all of our parents, students and staff members for a good day.
We will continue serving meals to children based on the following schedule:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at all of our buildings
Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at our elementary buildings only.
There is no income requirement. All children are welcome and encouraged to take meals.
Today, teachers continued to work on lessons for students that will begin the week of March 30. More information about how to access these lessons will be communicated at a later time.
As our state and national leaders have emphasized, please continue to practice social distancing. Please do not hang out in large groups or come to the school in large groups to pick up your meals.
If you need something urgent from the school building, please contact your building principal by email.
