Students can learn to design, build and play their own guitars during a free summer camp experience, open to students entering grades 9 through 12 next school year. Students will take part in an intense five-day guitar design/build project. Each student will build a custom electric guitar and engage in student-centered learning activities in math, science and engineering. Campers will work in teams, using their knowledge to solve problems and create their own guitar. The program will be offered July 25-29 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily. Participants must be available the entire week, and failure to participate will result in a fee of $250. Please click here to download more information and a registration form
Completed registration forms are due by May 15. Parents/guardians will be notified the week of May 30, 2022, of acceptance to guitar camp. Spots are limited, and completion of the application does not guarantee entry. Any questions regarding Guitar Camp can be directed to Amy McDaniel at 740-670-7055.
