Newark City Schools will host a Community Forum at 6 p.m. on Thurs., April 29, in the Newark High School Auditorium to discuss the State Farm Building opportunity. The forum will also be streamed live to the district’s Facebook page, and will be shown on the district website.

During this forum, district administrators and board members will discuss the opportunity to purchase the State Farm building at 1440 Granville Road in Newark.

This forum will allow community members to learn about the district’s initial plans for the property, ask questions and provide feedback. The building would allow for NCS to move preschool under one roof, free up classroom space in two elementary schools, and explore future opportunities. The district also looks forward to expanding community and business partnerships.
