Clinics will be held in the Wilson Gym Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8am-9:15am starting July 7.
Tryouts will be held Monday, August 3 and Tuesday, August 4 from 8am-9:30am
SOME THINGS TO REMEMBER:
You MUST have a current physical brought with you the first day you attend open gym.
2.) You MUST have FinalForms filled out in order to participate.
3.) Water fountains may not be used so you must bring your own water bottle.
4.) Please be dressed in proper volleyball clothing. Locker rooms are unavailable.
5.) When you get dropped off and picked up, please no congregating outside. If you are walking, walk home immediately. If you are getting picked up, please social distance yourself from others while waiting for your ride. Please have a ride promptly at 9:15 so we can avoid athletes standing around.
6.) Only 25 people are allowed in the gym at one time, including coaches. I’m not sure we will reach this total, but if we do, we will have to figure out a schedule in order to adjust to these numbers.
7.) If you have your own volleyball available, you are welcome to bring it. If not, we will of course have volleyballs available for use in the school that will be cleaned after each session.
8.) Restrooms will NOT be available to athletes, only if it’s an emergency. PLEASE stress this to your daughter, as we are only in the gym for a short amount of time and want to make the most of it.
All of these guidelines are very important so we can get this right and continue to play! As always, please do not send your daughter if they are not feeling well/have a fever, if they have been around anyone who has been ill, or if they have been out of town/been around someone who has been out of town. Below is a schedule for July. Open gyms are not mandatory, but are helpful for us as coaches to be able to see the girls before tryouts and help them work on skills and conditioning for the season. Please make as many as you can, but you are not penalized for missed open gyms.
