Welcome to the Parent Math Academy for Grades K-5!

Newark City Schools is using the EngageNY curriculum, which is aligned with Ohio’s New Learning Standards.

This page is designed to give you resources and support as you help your child with mathematics throughout the school year.

Below, you will find grade-level specific parent guides for our math standards. These guides provide a year overview of what your child will learn in math. There are also online resources to help you assist your children with their school work and to practice math facts and skills at home.

This site has short video clips to illustrate math concepts and skills for each grade level. They show important skills students should be working on in specific grade levels.
